Dénia recognizes organizations that participated in extinguishing the fire of Montgó

The City Council of Dénia has wanted to recognize, in the act of celebration of Police Day, the work of the troops and entities that participated in the extinction of the fire of the Natural Park Montgó last September.

Representatives of the Provincial Consortium of Alicante Firefighters passed through the stage; the regional fire station of the Marina Alta; the Provincial Consortium of Valencia Firefighters; the Rural Emergency Brigades of the Generalitat Valenciana and Emergencies 1.1.2 Comunitat Valenciana; Dénia Local Police; National Police Corps; Civil Guard of Alicante; Unit of the National Police Corps attached to the Valencian Community; Group against Forest Fires (ACIF) Marina Alta; the groups of Civil Protection volunteers from Dénia, Gata de Gorgos, Pedreguer, Ondara, Benissa and Benidoleig; Third emergency intervention battalion of the Military Emergency Unit (UME); environmental agents of the Montgó natural park; Dénia local assembly of the Red Cross; Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta (Aehtma) and MasyMas Supermarkets.

During the ceremony in the delivery of different awards to members of the bodies of local and national police it was also made. The National Police has given the Police Merit Cross with white symbol to sub-inspector of the National Police Sergio Chaves Gallego, coordinator of services in the Brigade of Public Security Police Station Dénia, where it is intended since June this year.

Local Police Corps have received a medal for his ten years of service agents Benimeli José Fernando Riera, José María Puig Girau, Helena Zapata Chillon, Alberto Alberola Morcillo, Oscar and Jorge Hernandez Canet Ortolá Berto.
