Dénia recognizes the teacher Dolors Monferrer Ferrando with the prize for Adult Training

The teacher Dolores Monferrer Ferrando, currently a teacher at the Adult Training Center Paterna-La Coma, is the winner of the XXI Ciutat de Dénia Award for the Training of Adults.

The jury of the prize has agreed to award him the prize "for being a vocational teacher who has excelled in the defense and promotion of a lifelong education, pregnant with the recognition of feminist contributions and the contributions of various freedom practices".

The award recognizes "which has contributed to the establishment of relations between the social and the public, has created and strengthened the links as well as the promotion and promotion of networks in the field of lifelong education and popular culture, of social intervention from a committed option and popular and from an educational dimension, clearly inclusive ".

The Ciutat de Dénia Prize for the training of adults faces a new decade with some news regarding the act of delivery of the award. The 15 will be held in June, at the 12 at noon, and not in the afternoon as usual, in the Plenary Hall of the City of Dénia. It has also been decided to introduce another treatment of the act that was centered, more if possible, on the figure of the person or entity honored.

The jury of this 21 edition has been integrated by Rafa Carrió, Councilor for Culture of Dénia; Francisca Borox López, representative of the Pedagogical Renewal Workshop on Adult Permanent Education (TAREPA), member entity of the Board of Social Agents for the Training of Adults; Encarna Such Cardona, representative of the Association of Adult Participants (APAP) that is also part of the Board of Social Agents for the Training of Adults; Òscar Mengual, Councilor for Citizen Participation of Dénia, Vicente Mas, director of the FPA center in Dénia and Maribel Font as secretary.
