Dénia claims the adequacy of fencing train station

In a meeting held in the office of mayor, the mayor, Ana Kringe, He has asked the deputy managing director of Railways of the Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), Pedro Catalán Vena, improvement and adaptation of the fencing of the railway station.

In this way the government team echoes the claim made by the Citizens group last October, when it denounced the state of the fencing of the station. In fact, a motion was passed in the plenary of that month by which FGV and the Department of Infrastructure, Transportation and Environment were requested "the urgent repair of the entire perimeter fence of the railway station and its proper conservation, as well as the urban roads of the road".

Precisely this motion has been recalled by the first mayor Deputy Director, with particular emphasis on the current state of the fences affect the safety of users and third parties as well as the image of the municipality.

For their part, from Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana they have committed to transfer the proposal to the manager of FGV and general director of Transport and Logistics, Pablo Cotino, with the aim of offering a solution in a short period of time.

This exhibition will come to Dénia in the coming months and will remember the history of the railway line between Altea and Alicante, which joined in Dénia 1915.
