The City of Denia has recently received a total of 2.900 euros in aid for the development of equality programs this year granted by the Diputación de Alicante.
On the one hand, 1.563,66 euros have been allocated to program development Luca Wig, An activity that promotes educational models that favor equality. Funding for the Regional Council has invested in acquiring the material to develop the program in classrooms 2.º childhood education from schools in Denia, La Xara and Jesus Pobre to be distributed shortly in all public schools and concerted .
Moreover, the City has received a grant from 1.341,36 euros for the development of III Equality Plan (PIO) between men and women in the municipality of Dénia 2015-2019 being developed by the UNED through its Observatory for Equality. This helps the data analysis, qualitative and data recording techniques that will serve for diagnosis on equality before the development of Dénia PIO will be used.
Finally the consistory has received a total of 726,07 euros for activities in the field of prevention of drug addiction and other addictive behaviors. This amount will go to the organization of the School of mothers and fathers on prevention of addictions held during the months of January and February of this year.
