Dénia wants to settle claims on accommodation of tourists before the end of your holiday

The Municipal Office of Consumer Information Denia (OMIC) has registered the new protocol implemented by the Territorial Service of Trade of Alicante to expedite the claims of tourists in accommodation.

The area councilor, Alex Rodenkirchen, and technical department, Verónica Fuster, last week attended a meeting at the headquarters of Invat.tur of Benidorm to enhance the figure of tourist arbitration ,Which would take place in Benidorm, in terms of tourist accommodation, in order to expedite the processing of claims and complaints from foreign or domestic tourists and solve them before they leave your holiday destination.

For the council, this practice is interesting for the city since "Increases protection for tourists avoiding abuse and injustice, improving the image of our municipalities and thus benefiting the tourism sector, the main engine of the economy of Dénia".

The meeting was attended by the head of the service, Ana Ballenilla, the president of the Arbitration Board of Benidorm, Lourdes Sánchez Escó and technical and councilors of the Municipal Offices Consumer Information populations of the two Marinas.
