They are just a sample of the dangers posed by the dumping of plastics at sea, a growing worldwide problem that can cause serious problems to marine flora and fauna. Friday 23 this initiative will collaborate with professional fishermen Dénia fleet, which during the day collect waste found during its outlet to the sea to fish. That same day in the afternoon at 19 hours, has organized a talk by Greenpeace in the Real Club Nautico de Denia on marine pollution and, especially plastic debris in the sea.

The cleaning work will continue on Saturday 24 in which it is expected to have the collaboration of volunteer citizens to walk the coast of Les Rotes manually collecting waste. Likewise, an appeal has been made to the owners of pleasure boats to collect the waste they find on the surface of the sea if they go sailing.
