Dénia it expected to increase in the tourist 9% occupation of the second half of July

The results of tourist occupation of the first half of July give off a good data for the city of Dénia. According to an estimate of the tourist office, the data that are derived are from 78% in hotel establishments; 48% in campsites and 66% in tourist rental accommodations. This is 7% more occupation than in the same date last year in hotels and 10% in campsites in the locality.

Figures that will improve in the second half that has already begun. Dénia estimates that it will be 84% in hotel establishments, 61% in campsites and 80% in tourist rental accommodations, data higher than last year, both in hotel establishments, where an 9% more occupancy is expected, in campsites, with also an 9% more forecast than in the 2015 year and in tourist rental accommodations, with an 6,5% more in forecast.

700 people a day pass through the Information Offices

During the first half of July, the first of the summer high season, have spent a total of 10.500 people by tourist offices in Dénia (central office, office in the Plaza del Consell and information point of the Esplanade Cervantes), representing an average of 700 people served daily.

A 48% of visitors has been of domestic origin and 52% international. The national total, the Community of Madrid has been a 45% of the inflow, followed by Valencia (14%), local residents (13%), Castilla León (6%) and the Basque Country (5%).

Of the total international visitors, the 41% came from France, followed by the United Kingdom (22%) and, third, Germany, with an 12%. Russia has been placed in an 4.º place (5%), followed by Holland and Belgium.
