Dénia prepares aid to companies and freelancers to minimize the economic impact of the energy crisis

Dénia City Council has approved the bases and the call for granting aid in order to minimize the economic impact that the energy crisis is having for SMEs, micro-SMEs, small self-employed entrepreneurs and professionals in Dénia. The total amount that will be allocated to the granting of these grants is 192.443 euros, from a grant awarded by the Diputación de Alicante to the Dianense consistory.

SMEs, micro-SMEs, the self-employed and other groups subject to mutual societies that have their fiscal domicile in the city of Dénia, excluding Xara and Jesús Pobre, and are registered in the Social Security regime or in the corresponding mutual and in the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE).

According to the bases, the energy costs directly related to the business and that are necessary for its operation will be eligible. Specifically, aid is offered for electricity and gas expenses originating between April 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022; and also for fuel expenses incurred between January 1 and June 30, 2022. The maximum amount to be granted to each applicant will be 4.000 euros.

The deadline for submitting applications to access these aids is from October 4 to 14, 2022 and these must be submitted electronically at the electronic headquarters of the city council. This is the direct link.
