Dénia Turisme participated last weekend in the French fair international Mahana Toulouse with its own counter inside the stand where the Patronato Costa Blanca was.
The French country, together with Great Britain and Germany, has become one of the markets with the greatest presence of visitors in the capital of the Marina Alta throughout the year. In addition, in recent seasons, France has become the main international market in the summer months, from June to September.
The importance of tourism has made Gallic necessary that the tourism department Dénia include in its plan to promote attendance at international fairs in Toulouse and Paris. The latter will be held next week between the 19 and 22 March days.
The Mahana fair, aimed at professionals and the general public, received in its last edition more than 23.000 visitors. Regarding the profile of the visitor who passed through the Dénia stand, it can be said that it is that of a tourist between 45 and 60 years interested in leisure activities such as hiking or diving and looking for the campsite as a place to stay. The visitors mostly agreed to plan their vacations to Dénia between March and June, thus contributing to the deseasonalization of the tourist destination.
