Dénia will occupy the vice-presidency of the Spanish Urban Security Forum

The City Council of Dénia occupies, from this week, the vice-presidency of the Spanish Urban Security Forum, belonging to the European Forum for the Prevention of Urban Safety (EFUS).

The General Assembly of the Forum, held at L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, ratified the renewal of positions and approved the appointment of the vice-presidency of the Spanish forum in favor of the City Council of Dénia, represented at the assembly by the chief commissioner of the Local Police, José Martínez Espasa. The presidency rests with the Madrid City Council and the secretariat in the Aragonese Federation of Municipalities, Counties and Provinces.

From the consistory affirm that the appointment of the city responds to the work done to date in the municipality on security policies and urban security projects, with which Dénia has participated in the forum. The last project presented was the security and tourism program of 2017.
