Dénia does not give the slightest chance to machismo

20 September 2018 - 13: 17

The fight against gender violence has reached a new stage in Dénia. After awareness and detection, the big bet now is the prevention of this problem in adolescence. For this, from the Local Police, in collaboration with the councils of Citizen Security, Social Welfare and Education, they have launched a series of workshops under the title The mask of love seek to guide adolescents in the municipality in the keys to a healthy love relationship in which the two parties are equal.

The renowned psychologist and criminologist Vicente Garrido is the creator and responsible for this program, which consists of talks, audiovisual projections and reading of novels among 14 and 15 students from the schools of the city of Dénia.

The mask of love It has its base in two books. On the one hand, L'Infern de Marta, by Pascual Alapont, and on the other, The mask of love, of Garrido himself. These readings form the starting point of the workshops, and from the City Council a book bank has been created so that students can access these publications.

To this we must add four short films that have been made with the participation of the students of the School of Regional Theater (ETC), the School of Young Entrepreneurs (EJE), and the collaboration of the Artemis group of the Local Police and 8 Study.

In addition, Garrido will give talks to trainers, educators, teachers, fathers and mothers, and also to the students themselves with the aim of transmitting the values of dignity and respect in the couple as a key to detect and prevent violent behavior.

For Vicente Garrido, these workshops distance themselves from others because they teach what a healthy love relationship should be because, he says, "the boys are alone to learn this". The workshops are intended to reflect on what attitudes are violent and do not accept a relationship in which they are not respected.

The chief mayor of the Local Police of Dénia, José Martínez Espasa, has been sure of the effectiveness of these workshops, since they have scientific and empirical support based on the experience of the 13 years of existence of the Artemis group of the Police Dénia Local, specialized in gender violence. Martínez says it is a "long-term" job that has just begun its journey in Dénia.

In the presentation of the workshops have been present the students who have participated, in addition to the councilor of education, Rafa Carrió; the councilor for Citizen Security, Javier Scotto; and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Elisabet Cardona.

  1. Enough of attacks against male and heterosexuality says:

There was a constitutional and legal state that guaranteed legality, regardless of race, sex, gender, and the color of people's skin. Now there is a "justice" turned into an instrument of a perverse ideology against a sex and a sexual orientation against the male and against heterosexuality. This could be compared to the final solution of Nazism against the Jewish people, where there is not a trace of defense and confidence in a system since the institutions of a country that should guarantee the legality and independence of justice are corrupt and infected, and the politicians and corresponding institutions, far from asking for help from European and international bodies, are dedicated to introducing more vicious injustice and discrimination seeking an electoral profit. What has become of the Constitution in its fundamental human rights. Those who said that all Spaniards are equal before the law without any discrimination based on sex, race or the color of people's skin. It is that nobody is realizing this crime. Is it that someone in their right mind may think that violating fundamental human rights in terrible laws can be a solution for something?
Violating human rights by politicians in their laws is directly provoking violence. Violence can never be justified, but when a race or gender is persecuted, a collective sex, there will be reactions to the desperation of all those whose human rights have been massacred and who do not have the slightest trace of being able to prove their innocence. been condemned for belonging to a sex. Perhaps not even the Nazis came to such perversity because this attack takes place in a supposed democratic state and law and in the middle of the 21 century with the applause and complicity of all the politicians who have the very little shame of calling these laws to this crime and attack against fundamental human rights laws of equality.
Perverse laws that in their injustice discriminate even the only innocents that are the children who will be entitled not to the consideration of the invention of gender depending on whether the abuser or abuser is a man or is a woman. In the case of Ana Julia or murderous women, those children will not be entitled to the same help.
