In order to improve the accessibility to the physical environment of Denia, the council has installed sound reinforcement 22 municipal traffic lights. This action has been budgeted for a total of 12.396,45 euros, of which the Department of Equality and Inclusive Policy takes over 5.578,40 euros, the rest will be funded by the City.
Traffic lights at those who have installed these improvements are 8 traffic lights intersection of Patricio Ferrández and Diana, 4 stoplights Avenue Alicante, crossing the street Sagunto and 10 stoplights Avenue Alicante Street Campo Torres .
Javier Scotto, Mayor of Public Safety explained that "the objective is to improve the accessibility conditions in the city of Dénia and, above all, to articulate systems that allow the personal autonomy of people with functional diversity".
