On the way towards sustainability Dénia, Dénia advances with curious steps. The latter has been the conversion of two taxis in the city, corresponding to the 10 and 13 licenses in the first ecotaxis with zero emissions of Spain.
These ecotaxis are characterized by low fuel consumption, reduced pollution, increased passenger comfort and reduced risks on the road.
Guillem Salvador, spokesman for the Sustainable Cities Foundation, explained that this initiative stems from a collaboration agreement between the Foundation Sustainable Cities and the Foundation consists of planting trees to offset emissions CO2 made by taxis certified More Trees echo.
The ecotaxis have free WIFI, card payment option, ionised air which serves as a filter pollution, recharge devices and low noise.
