To quantify the environmental impact of the carbon footprint in beaches of Dénia, the councilor for the environment, Josep Crespo, Will promote a study "with the objective of strengthening the fight against climate change and improving the environmental quality of our atmosphere".

To quantify this footprint, an inventory of the activities necessary for the development of the tourist activity on the beach will be carried out -surface, cleaning, concessions, water and light supplies, waste management, etc.-, quantifying the environmental values and making the conversion to tons of CO2 equivalent.

In this manner "We can obtain a still photo of the carbon footprint generated by the activities that take place on our beaches and thus take measures to reduce it"Crespo says.

And it would be best to start with clean, tidy and conveniently prepare the beaches rather than spend money in several studies.
To clean not need to make any previous study only have to look at that lamentable state of neglect and abandonment are some like the Paseo de la Rotas. Wonderful deserted beach by instituciones.Triste for a population living mainly from tourism.
