Dénia, scene of «Tresors amb història» to review the last 150 years of Valencian culture

Tonight, at 22:00 p.m., the program Treasures with history de À Punt will travel to Dénia to show the most historical objects of the Marina Alta. As the regional capital, the municipality will host the visit of the presenter Carolina Ferre and her group of experts to find out the history of the last 150 years of Valencian culture.

The program will not only focus on Dénia, but it will also do so on Safor. For this reason, the various historical objects will transport the viewer to the Philippine War, accompany the thousands of Valencians who migrated throughout the XNUMXth century, take a car ride through the Marina and tell the story of an emblematic figure from Gandia , the Uncle of the Porra.

Treasures with history It will have a top team that will be in charge of contextualizing the objects and selecting those that best reflect the last centuries of history. This team is made up of the historians Irene Ballester, Joan Seguí and Vicent Baydal, as well as the international chef Susi Díaz. The gastronomic expert of the program will learn first-hand the secrets of the cocas de la Marina, the Pericana de Muro and an old pressure cooker that hides many secrets of the Whereabouts of Ifach in Calp.

During its second season, the program will continue to visit the most symbolic cities of the Valencian Community in order to find objects of exceptional historical value that will later form part of a traveling exhibition. The exhibition of the first season can be visited right now at ETNO, the Valencian Museum of Ethnology.

Treasures with history is an À Punt production in association with Sunrise Pictures and EL TERRAT (The Mediapro Studio) and is based on the 'National Treasures' format, created and licensed by EZ Films – Ireland.
