Dénia is the city of the Mediterranean with more moorings per

With about 2.000 moorings, Dénia has become the Mediterranean city with more moorings per capita. So was announced yesterday the captain of Marina de DeniaGabriel Martínez, during the signing of the annual agreement with the city of Dénia.

According to Martinez, "This is an opportunity that we must seize" awarded by the "economic relevance of nautical tourism, which can bring wealth and employment to Dénia and the region".

The next May, between the 1 and 5, Dénia host the VI Boat Show, which has achieved relevance at the national level, placing the second in importance after the Boat Show from Barcelona. Gabriel Martínez this is a great achievement for the city, corroborated by the Councilor for Tourism, Pepa Font, who praised Marina de Dénia for being "the greatest exponent in terms of quality and quantity" Nautical offer.

The municipality cooperate in achieving this VI Boat Show with 15.000 euros in tourism promotion of the city focused on the activities carried out by the Marina de Dénia. At the signing ceremony was attended by Gabriel Martínez, Pepa Font and Mayoress of Denia, Ana Kringe.

Last year, Hall received about 30.000 visits and raised nearly 3 million in selling boats.
