The City Council activates a special device of the Local Police of Dénia for the start of the new school year.
On the occasion of the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year, as of Monday, September 7, and during the first week of class, the Local Police, in coordination with the Tutor Agent, the traffic education department, the Department of Education and the educational centers, will be present at the entrances of schools and institutes.
A total of 27 agents per day will be assigned to control traffic and access, avoid crowds and help in the staggered, orderly and safe entry. They will be joined by 7 volunteers from Civil Protection who will support the Local Police. In addition, the National Police will join the operation with a patrol that will control the area with the most influx, Plaza Jaume I.
