On the occasion of the celebration of the World Bird Day (3 in October), the Department of Environment and Climate Change and the environmental company Magic & Nature have organized two free ornithological days on 30 in September and 1 in October. The activity is aimed at participants of all ages who want to get involved in the knowledge and care of birds.
On Saturday 30 of September, at 8: 30 hours, you will leave from Torrecremada towards the Natural Park of the Marjal de Pego-Oliva, where you will be offered an ornithological route to start in the world of waterfowl observation and a session scientific banding, by the ornithologist doctor Francisco Atiénzar. The activity will end around noon with a picnic for the attendees.
The afternoon session will take place on Interpretation Center of the Natural Park Montgó, in the Bosc de Diana, with a mini fair of environmental workshops, from 17 pm, with a snack for the participants.
On Sunday 1 of October will be a catamaran departure for the observation of seabirds by the Marine Reserve of Cap de Sant Antoni. The route will start at 9: 30 hours and will continue until 11 hours.
