Dénia celebrates World Tap Day with a special route through 36 bars and restaurants

The next 15 of June, in 20 countries of the world with Spanish Tourist Offices, will celebrate this World Day of the Tapa, an action whose objective is to put in value the tapa and the tapas as differential elements of the Spanish gastronomy and society.

Dénia, as a Creative City of UNESCO Gastronomy, bet one more year for the celebration of this day, and will do so by linking 36 bars and restaurants in the city on a special tapas route to be held on 14, 15 and 16 of June. During those days, the participating locals will offer a minimum of two lids to the ruteros. The price of a cap plus drink is 3 euros.

This special tapas route is organized by GuiaME Comunicación, in collaboration with Turismo Dénia and AEHTMA.

'Taste Spain' event in Rome

In celebration of World Tapa Day, the gastronomy of Denia will be present in two European stages. The first is Rome, where the city, along with eight other destinations that are part of the Saborea Spain platform, will participate in a gastronomic presentation for the specialized public - operators, press, influencers - that will bring together more than 250 people in the residence of the ambassador Spanish.

For this occasion, Julia Schirweit, from the restaurant Entrearomas, will prepare two tapas with indigenous products that combine tradition and creativity.
