Next March 29 2014, Dénia host the procession of the Board of brotherhoods of Easter in the Diocese of Valencia. A total of 33 municipalities make up the Board of Brotherhoods, bringing together a total of 55.000 brothers. Each year one of these populations is responsible for hosting the exhibition brotherhoods of Easter and a procession of Easter steps. Next year, the Brotherhood of Jesús Nazareno and Our Lady of Sorrows in Dénia will host this event.
The events begin on March 23 with a Mass and the opening of an exhibition of the fraternities and sororities Easter to be installed in the Municipal House of Culture, Composed of images of each brotherhood, banners, posters, Vestas, photographs and various Easter related objects.
The diocesan procession will be held on the March 29 and it is expected that more people from different populations of the Valencian Region will participate in 2.000, as well as the assistance of the archbishop of Valencia, Monsignor Carlos Osoro.
The city's mayor met with representatives of the Brotherhood of Jesús Nazareno and Our Lady of Sorrows Denia to outline the details of the procession.
