Dénia dawns with the first traffic cuts due to the rain

The warned heavy rainfall has already reached Dénia. The AEMET has been correct with its prognosis, in which it decreed the yellow alert in our area due to risk, and the Marina Alta wakes up today soaked after a night of rain without rest, which can stay until next Friday.

For now, the first consequences have been seen in the regional capital. The City Council has closed three roads to traffic due to the deterioration caused by the rain and the accumulation of water on them. They are the Camí de la Bota, Camí del Llavador, Carrer Quevedo, Carrer Barbacana, Marineta Cassiana, Camí Real (with Camí Vell de Gandia), Camí de l'Alberca and perpendiculars, Cervantes esplanade, and Camí Fondo de La Xara, roads that are already veteran in closing due to rain.

In addition, the consistory has set its sights on three other areas prone to flooding, where they ask neighbors not to park their vehicles. These are the Grup San Andrés, avenida Joan Fuster and Assagador de la Marjal.
