The Ministry of Health has updated the data by municipality on the impact of the coronavirus based on the records added since Tuesday in each health department. In this update, the numbers of new daily positives increase slightly in the Marina Alta, although they are still at levels well below the worst days of the third wave.
The Dénia health department, on which the entire Marina Alta depends, has notified 169 new positives since Tuesday. Of the 9.509 cases registered since March, the number of active cases drops to 455. This has caused the incidence to deflate to 264,93 infections per 100.000 inhabitants.
In the case of Dénia the trend practically repeats itself. New infections increased slightly, adding 40, thus reaching the barrier of 3.000 positives since the start of the pandemic. However, there are just over a hundred assets left, 108 to be exact, so the incidence drops to 256,13.
