Dénia successfully welcomes the start of the 'Circarte' festival

The Social Center of Dénia became a circus scene on Sunday thanks to the start of the festival Circarte, of which the capital of the Marina Alta It is official headquarters.

Yesterday, the first of the three activities of the Circarte Festival took place in the Social Center to be held in our city during the month of September: the Circus Gala Circ d'Ací. A show for all audiences and free admission involving ten circus artists from the Valencian Community in a review of the different techniques, from juggling, hand-to-hand, trapeze, wheel cyr, contortion or aerial acrobatics straps, among other disciplines. Circ d'Ací shows the current landscape of the circus in the Valencian Community and collects the best of the circus tradition fused with the new artistic ingredients of the current circus.

The festival Circarte will continue in Dénia next Sunday, September 23, concentrating on La Vía street. From 17 to 18: 30 hours the workshop will be offered Introduction to circus techniques taught by the Circolío Association. In this workshop, focused on all ages from 4 years, the bases of juggling (with balls, clubs, diabolo, hoops, Chinese dishes ...), unicycle, acrobatics or balances will be taught. At 19 hours, the show will be offered Flou Papagayo Company Mumusic Circus. A poetic show of great technical and artistic quality that includes, among other disciplines, acrobatics, balances, hair suspension, dance, theater and live music.
