El Marina Health Hospital On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 29, it hosted a day dedicated to the first class of midwives who have been training, both in the Hospital and in the Healthcare Network, in the last two years.

This year Marta Calero Blasco and Paula Deusa López will graduate, who presented their final specialty project with their homonyms from the Marina Baixa under the title "Values, Beliefs and Motivations of Midwives who attend delivery at home in the Valencian Community".

During the day, topics such as emergency situations or updating in breastfeeding and complementary feeding were also addressed.

The day was chaired by the Director of Care and Services of the Department of Health of Dénia, Catalina Espín; the member of the Alicante College of Nursing, Montserrat Angulo; the Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pedro Clemente, and the Supervisor of midwives, Silvia Crespo, both from the Department of Health of Dénia. The closing has been carried out by the Vice President of the Associació de Comares de la Comunitat Valenciana.
