The former candidate for mayor of Dénia and for the presidency of the State, Helen Mukoro, has been arrested by the National Police in the capital of the Marina Alta for an alleged case of usurpation of functions and fraud by posing as the president of UN-Women in Spain and of the Spanish National Committee of UN Women. In the same way, she is accused of fraud for having offered false legal expert courses.
Helen Mukoro founded in 2015 the Unión de Todos party, with which she ran as mayor of Dénia in those municipalities with disastrous results: being the least voted. Far from surrendering, Mukoro "relapsed" making the leap to national politics, with the ambitious goal of seizing the presidency of the State. That is why in the two general elections of 2019, his party appeared as an option for voters. The result? The same: the least voted party, this time in all of Spain.
Now his arrest in Dénia has been known for allegedly usurpation of functions and fraud. Apparently, Mukoro would have pretended to be the president of the UN-Women in Spain, a title that he did not hold and which he took advantage of to deceive people who were looking for online judicial expert courses. She offered them, assuring that they were official thanks to the relative reliability supported by her false position.
And the thing is not there, because he also took the opportunity to request funds for alleged projects of the institution and came to appear in several media interviewed as visible head of the organization.
