Cs Dénia dismisses the rise in the garbage rate as "shame"

11 October 2021 - 09: 46

"It is a shame to raise the rate of garbage more than 10% to Dianense families, in the current crisis situation, especially with the excessive rise in electricity." With these words, the spokesperson for the Municipal Group citizens Dénia Susana Mut, qualifies the disproportionate rise in the rate of garbage that the socialist government team is going to take to plenary session this Friday. He has also pointed out that “the residents of the city are not being considered, only
balance accounts to be able to carry out their electoral program and be re-elected in two years. If we were really concerned about the Dianenses, he would have proposed a progressive increase in several years, not all at once ”.

The councilor of the Municipal Group Estefanía Schwamb has highlighted "once again, we see that left-wing policies only serve to raise taxes, this time for the middle and lower class, who are affected by this rise in the garbage rate." He pointed out that “surely studying the municipal budget well could find the necessary money so that the collection service was not in deficit. Nothing happens, if during the next two years none of the pharaonic works that one wants to do in exchange for improving the lives of the Dianenses are carried out ”.

Another rate that increases is that of the Municipal Market stalls, which it receives as a reward for its efforts in these hard months of pandemic, forced pedestrianization of Marques de Campo Street and the distance from the proximity market on Fridays. the increase in the rate of each position.

The orange spokeswoman Susana Mut, has indicated that “the propaganda is already well done, the government team must really get to work for the neighbors, not for their electoral objectives. Their mouths are full announcing the change more
radical that the city will suffer in democracy, and the only thing they are going to achieve is to leave Dénia turned into a ghost town ”.

For these reasons, the municipal group Ciudadanos is not going to support this rate increase, which will be carried out through an extraordinary plenary session, on a Friday afternoon, with the aim that it goes unnoticed by the residents of Dénia.

The offended girl on duty came out insulting and demeaning, showing off "a great education, people skills and a high level of reading comprehension." Have you felt represented with the Eco Park? Some abandoned sofa? construction material lying around? Well that's your problem. Pay the fee and don't be so vulgar, it is the price for having a »second residence«.

  5. José says:

Let's see if you realize how politicians laugh at us, they create a brutal economic crisis for us with restrictions by closing businesses and creating illegal confinement and at the same time raising taxes to be able to continue paying the public spending that the state has. In short, they create misery for us and also drown us in taxes… .. do you still believe that the coronavirus has been because? hahahaha

  6. Luis says:

Let the tourists who are the biggest producers of garbage pay. You just have to see how they treat the beaches, the coves, the countryside, the garbage containers and any corner where they leave the furniture and appliances they no longer want from their summer properties. There is a pick-up service, there are the Eco Park {which we all pay for} and yet they still have to leave it in the middle of nowhere. If they can't even use a service that already exists, what can you expect from them?

What a redneck you are. Tourists? Tell me, I have bought a house in Denia, I pay my taxes like every Denia neighbor even if I only go three or four months a year, am I a tourist? I am afraid that I produce a third of the garbage that you generate if you live the whole year, but I pay the same. Let's see if all of us who have second homes in Denia are paying for their garbage.

      • Pepe says:

Insulting someone doesn't help you in your comment either. Owner of a second home by the sea and do you mind having to pay a fee? Not everyone can afford two properties and do you now have the financial squeamishness for a Tourist Tax? And on top of insulting ... what level are you Pituca ...

      • Lucas says:

Too bad Pituca, you could have expressed your opinion in a respectful way but the one you have chosen is not acceptable. Is that what you think of the people who live here? Do you also think that you save their lives every time you come to enjoy these lands? And that therefore they have to put the red carpet on him and pay homage to him? And all for not wanting to pay a minimum to escape to the paradise that you and so many like you crowd in summer.
