Next Saturday, December 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m., the Red Cross will celebrate its traditional Day of the Little Flag. This campaign is carried out in more than thirty municipalities of the Valencian Community, including Dénia.
All of the proceeds will be allocated to the group of children in vulnerable situations "because the future is theirs". Specifically, the funds obtained will go to the local projects "Promotion of school success" and "Educational Toy", among others dedicated to this group. "Our work will focus on supporting the most vulnerable, strengthening our activities in: food distribution, school support classes, books, school supplies, educational toys, etc," they point out from the NGO.
As a novelty, this year they incorporate new technologies, including the option to collaborate via BIZUM, understanding that this option will allow all people who want to collaborate due to availability or remoteness and cannot travel to one of the 12 tables to participate.
