CREAMA reports on Sundays and holidays on which shops will open their doors

February 17 from 2011 - 00: 00

According to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Innovation, the calendar establishes a maximum of 8 Sundays and holidays in which it will be possible to exercise commercial practice at any time of the year.

Thus, Sundays and holidays in which establishments may open to the public will be:

21 of April (Holy Thursday)

3 July (Sunday / summer sales)

August 14 (Sunday)

December 4 (Sunday /Christmas/Kings)

8 of December (festive / Christmas / Kings)

December 11 (Sunday / Christmas / Kings)

December 18 (Sunday / Christmas / Kings)

January 8 2012 (Sunday / Winter Sales)

The schedule on the days indicated above will depend on the establishment, but will never exceed 12 opening hours to the public. Likewise, establishments must inform their clients of schedules properly.

In the case of Denia, which has the status of a large tourist area, retail establishments are free to determine days and hours of opening to the public in Easter and Summer, and establishments of less than 150 square meters that do not operate in Distribution chains have the same freedom throughout the year.

Is fine, but it would be better if all the shops in Denia agreed and opened at the same time. It's sad to go out on a Sunday and there are some shops open and others closed. I think they would all win more if they agreed and announced it
