The second important novelty that Creama Dénia presents for the 2019 / 2020 course in terms of training offer aimed at young people is, together with the basic qualification training program (PFQB) of auxiliary activities of ship support to the port, the training program of auxiliary activities in conservation and improvement of mountains, linked to environmental conservation and awareness.
The Department of Education has granted two programs of this specialty throughout the Valencian Community: one to the municipality of Onda (Castelló) and the other to Creama Dénia; therefore, it is also a unique program throughout the province of Alicante.
In addition to the transversal modules of any PFQB, this program has as specific training modules one of forestry (structure and organization of forests: vertically and horizontally) and pest control; of reforestation and forest infrastructure; silvicultural treatments (to conserve forests) and maintenance operations of gardens, green areas and parks.
In order to contextualize this program with all the endogenous resources available to the municipality of Dénia, the teaching team is establishing communication and coordination networks with the Department of Ecological Transition, specifically the Parks and Gardens and Environment departments. A collaboration has also been established with the Montgó Natural Park and the participation of ACIF (Forest Fire Fighting Association) is expected.
The ultimate goal, in addition to raising awareness for mountain conservation, is to give youth the opportunity to train and work in a professional profile that not only includes gardening, but also reaches a more inclusive environment within the environmental world.
