06 2018 April - 11: 26

Thanks to the collaboration framework agreement between Servef and the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), the City Council of Dénia has been a beneficiary of a new Servef program called "Equipment for job search and entrepreneurship."

The program, managed through the Agency of CREAMA-Dénia, consists of forming a team composed of a heterogeneous group of unemployed people, under 30 years, who work on improving their self-postulation strategies through the intervention of a coach or personal trainer.

With this proactive process, the skills of the group of participants are enhanced, increasing their chances of finding a job, either on their own or on behalf of others. It includes resources for orientation, training and activities specifically designed for the group, using a methodology in which the members actively and jointly participate in the search, not only for the occupation itself, but also for that of the other members of the team, in a climate of trust, creativity and mutual help, through the sharing of knowledge and collaboration in the pursuit of a common goal, which increases the chances of getting a job.

The program began in March and will end in July. The group and individual sessions take place at the facilities of the CREAMA-Dénia Agency, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9 to 14 hours. The company to which Servef has awarded the management and implementation of the program is Ingeus and the training technique in charge of its development is Mirosa Pallarés.

The Dénia group of participants is made up of 20 people, 10 women and 10 men, aged between 18 and 30 years. The educational levels are heterogeneous, as well as the work experience of the participants, who have been selected by a commission of assessment integrated by the technical staff of CREAMA-Dénia and Servef. In addition, this staff is responsible for the support and support necessary for the development of the program.

This job search program is subsidized by the Servef and co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the Operative Youth Employment Program and the Regional Operational Program of the Valencian Community. In the province of Alicante, the cities of Dénia, Benidorm and Torrevieja have been selected to develop the program.
