CREAMA approves a budget of more than one million euros for 2019

November 20 from 2018 - 16: 47

The Consortium for the Economic Recovery of the Marina Alta (CREAMA) held in the town of Pedreguer the General Meeting to approve the annual budget for the year 2019. For this year, the consortium has a total of 1.093.031,59 euros made up of the contributions of the municipalities that make up the consortium : Benissa, Calpe, Dénia, Gata de Gorgos, Pedreguer, Pego, Teulada-Moraira and Xàbia; and by the contribution of the Provincial Council of Alicante, which in 2019 maintains the increase in 2018 that reinforces the commitment and commitment to the consortium by the provincial institution.

In this sense, the City Councils are the fundamental element in the commitment to the Creama since the activities, both local and regional, that are developed are only possible thanks to their collaboration, commitment and funding. To these accounts will be added the resources of entities such as the LABORA (formerly SERVEF) and the European Social Fund for the development of county projects, training activities, programs, etc.

Annual Action Plan

Together with the budget, the 2019 Annual Action Plan was approved, aimed at making the Marina Alta a sustainable territory and more socially cohesive, with skills to face the challenges and opportunities that arise.

For this, 2019 continues to be fundamental, according to the manager of the Creama, Rosario Donderis, to develop growth strategies based on cooperation and consensus. Projects such as the Territorial Agreement for Employment, the second phase of the Experimental Projects within the framework of the Agreement for Employment, the collaboration agreement with the European Center for Innovative Enterprises of Elche, the agreement with Gasterra-University of Alicante, and the execution of projects such as Erasmus +; will contribute to achieving this goal; besides the actions that are developed from the local agencies in the areas of business promotion, training, insertion and information.

The capital of this year falls on Teulada

Another of the agreements adopted has been to establish the capital of the Creama in the 2019 in the municipality of Teulada, where the sessions of the General Meeting of the consortium will be held this year. The president of Creama thanked the City of Pedreguer for the welcome it has given to the county actions of the consortium throughout 2018, to which the mayor of Pedreguer said it had been a satisfaction to show the capital of the consortium.
