The City Council of Calp hosted last week the celebration of the General Board of Creama in which the president of the Consortium, the Deputy for Development and Development, Sebastian Cañadas, presented the budget for the year 2018.

The initial budget for the next year amounts to 997.891,58 euros made up of the contributions of the municipalities that make up the consortium: Benissa, Calpe, Dénia, Gata de Gorgos, Pedreguer, Pego, Teulada-Moraira and Xàbia; and by the contribution of the Provincial Council of Alicante, which in 2018 makes an increase in its contribution that reinforces in this way the commitment and commitment to the consortium by the provincial institution.

To these accounts will also be added the resources of entities such as SERVEF and the European Social Fund for the development of regional Employment Workshops, training activities, and different programs.

2018 Annual Action Plan

Along with the budget, the 2018 Annual Action Plan aimed at getting the Marina Alta be a sustainable and socially cohesive territory. For this, in 2018 it will be essential, as highlighted by the manager of Creama, Rosario Donderis, to develop activities to create a solid regional work structure that allows us to cooperate to define and develop growth strategies based on cooperation and agreement. Projects like the Territorial Agreement for Employment, the collaboration agreement with the European Center of Innovative Companies of Elche, Lanzadera de Empleo, and the adhesion to projects such as Erasmus +; will help achieve this goal.

Ana Mª Sala, councilor of Creama Calp, was the host of the session, which was attended by the mayors and councilors of the consortium councils. Among the attendees were the mayors: Abel Cardona (Benissa), Magdalena Mengual Morata (Gata de Gorgos), Sergi Ferrús (Pedreguer), Enrique Moll Briones (Pego); the director of the Servef de Dénia Office, Rosa Moragues; and the councilors Xavi Tro (Benissa), Eva Round (Dénia), Victoria Simó (Pedreguer) and Nieves Rodriguez (Teulada).

New interventionist and new capital

The president of Creama welcomed the new intervener of the consortium, Mónica Serisola, who joined for the first time in this session of the General Board.
