Covadonga Sanjuán and Ignacio Puente champions Lacoste Promises 2013 in La Sella

The Asturian Covadonga Sanjuán and the Sevillian Ignacio Puente have been proclaimed Lacoste Promises 2013 champions by winning the Final, held on the route of La Sella Golf Resort. Lacoste will dress the champions for a year and Iberia will take them to the destination they choose with a companion.

Covadonga, Spain Cadete current Champion and European Champion Sub-16 for the second consecutive year, finished tied with fellow of the National School of Golf, Cadiz María Parra, having to play a play-off hole -the 10 of recorrido- in which the pair met for the title. Asturian of 16 years, the Club de Golf Los Balagares, started playing at age five.

Ignacio Puente, the youngest of the tenth edition Lacoste Promises, has 13 years; He started playing three in Zaudín and since I was five at the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla. 2º studies of ESO, his favorite player is Tiger Woods, likes all sports and occasionally plays football with his friends, declaring himself a follower of Sevilla; She likes pop music and admits that the best part of his game is putting.

During the training session of this tenth edition, José Mari Olazábal, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Nacho Garrido and Azahara Muñoz went to great lengths so that the twenty finalists enjoyed an unforgettable day from which they could draw lessons for their training, within and off the field. Another of the luxury visitors was the Javiense tennis player, David Ferrer.
