The Post Office service will continue normally in the dissemination of Dénia - Montgó, Rotes and Marines - until the next June 30, after a new extension agreed between the City Council and the Post Office. Initially, the delivery service in the outskirts ended in February, but since the mailboxes have not yet been installed, this new extension has been agreed.
As explained by the councilor MªJosep Ripoll during the February plenary, at the request of a question by Miguel Llobell (GDCU), the City Council will install a total of 1092 multi-user mailboxes in the three affected areas. Of that total, 220 is reserved in case some neighbor who has not bought his mailbox wants to do so.
Regarding the installation of the mailbox batteries, Ripoll explained that this week the approval of the modification of credits was published to start the recruitment file, which is expected to start next week to install the new mailboxes.
