They summon a civic concentration in Dénia for a political dispute free of reprisals

January 23 from 2018 - 03: 24

Around twenty cultural, social and political associations of the Marina Alta will support this Wednesday, January 24, at 20:00 p.m., a civic concentration in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Dénia in support of a free political dispute and without fear of reprisals.

This call is born after the events in Catalonia, and from the organization they claim that "With the violence that the Spanish State has deployed, we have put ourselves on guard many of those who, despite differing in political goals, agree on the appreciation for democracy, freedom, pacifism, the uniqueness of the peoples and your right to define yourself collectively ".

In said manifest they request "The release of people imprisoned because of the Catalan process. The existence of political prisoners in Spain shames us and scares us. We ask that the application of Article 155 of the Spanish Constitution be repealed. We ask, from the diversity of our political options, that the current unequal confrontation by the coercive capacity of the State be redirected to the field of political dialogue ".

The ACPV (Cultural Action of the Valencià Country), the Sertorius Cultural Association, Jaume I Pedreguer Cultural Center, El Bloc Marina Alta, Club d'Escacs Cavallers Marina Alta, Col•lectiu join this call. Compromís d'Ondara, CSA La Mistelera, ERPV Marina Alta, Esquerra Valenciana, Escola Valenciana “Federació d'Associacions per la Llengua”, Free Minor Africa, Granotes de Pedreguer, Intersindical Salud Dénia, JODAD (Joves pel dret to decide on Marines), La CUP de Pedreguer, SOS Natura Marina Alta and STEPV (Sindicat de Treballadors de l'Ensenyament del País Valencià).

In several towns in Catalonia, with mayors of the CUP or ERC. They have decided to fine every neighbor they catch by removing the yellow ties that others place. Claiming that the act of removing them is vandalism against street furniture but putting them is freedom of expression. Those of the CUP, so anti-system that they sell and learn so quickly the cacique casposo system of a lifetime. As for the ERC, so Republicans, Democrats etc and three quarters of the same. That is the democratic, new and superior society that they sell? That is his own dictatorship based only on his ideas and the use of institutions to curb those who do not think like them. That is not Democracy!

Totally agree with Lucas. And these people also forget a detail. The laws are to be respected. If one jumps consciously and with total impunity, the minimum that can be expected is a reaction from the State in this regard. They look like angry teenagers for not letting them do whatever they want, even if their acts involve a whole series of problems for others. If they talk about Democracy, use that word well and do not distort it to filter their desires and ambitions only.

  3. Lucas says:

<> Violence? Are you referring to Mariano Rajoy? Good grief, he hasn't done anything, but he has applied a 155 super light.
All the signatories agree on <> They call freedom to imposition and the tyranny they use in their separatist activities ... And they fill their mouths with democracy when, through it, they take care of undermining the system of peaceful coexistence that has cost so much to build . They call the singularity of peoples to their desire to impose a separatist ideology protected by small cultural differences that you go out of your way to maximize (to try to justify that we are different, different), being a minority and changing the name of things. The final touch, the right to define oneself collectively. How? Do they live in a country that does not allow them to define themselves collectively or individually? Or maybe they want something else called collective separatism. Spain as separate "friends", is a free country where you can go and do what you please, with the only limit of respecting the rights of our fellow citizens.
And I end with a quote from Winston Churchill: "The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists."
