Consequences of the rain: the detachment of a facade destroys a parked vehicle

We have barely seen the sun for seven days, but the truth is that it has not been until this weekend that we have just passed that the rain has made an appearance in Dénia. And how! For hours and hours the precipitation has been constant, despite lacking great strength, but forcing the Dianenses to stay at home.

This has partly cleaned the air that had been in the air for weeks with annoying airborne dust, but it has had its negative consequences.

In carrer Elx, the skeleton of an abandoned half-built building, one of those that has been decorating different parts of Dénia for years, has not withstood the rain, detaching part of what could have been balconies and precipitating the damage last night to the vacuum. With the bad leg that underneath there was a parked vehicle, which has been totally disabled by the large size of this debris, as can be seen in the photographs taken by Nazar Kost and provided to this medium.

The police have approached the place to verify the magnitude of these damages, which luckily are only material, since if someone were walking around the place it would have been disastrous.
