The Department of Archeology of the City of Dénia has organized a series of talks and conferences for this summer that begin on Thursday, 19 July, with conferences Ceramics from the 11th century present in the Qal'a of the Banū Ḥammād (Algeria), from the surroundings of Cairuán, Sabra and Cartago (Tunisia), in Dénia. The background of the Archaeological Museum of Dénia.
The talk will begin with an introduction by the Professor of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Alicante, Francisco Franco Sánchez, who will speak about the relations between Magrib and al-Ándalus. Next, the municipal archaeologist, Josep A. Gisbert Santonja, will develop the theme of the day.
