In this 2020, seven people with different capacities (Javi, Aroa, David C., Sergio, David S., Raúl and Mar) will participate, together with the support of a Special Education Teacher, two Graduates in Physical Activity Sciences and the Sport and various monitors in the project “A
for inclusion " launched by the Condemned to Curb Association in 2013.
The fundamental objective of this project is to facilitate the incorporation of people with different abilities into the workplace and to offer different activities to the functional diversity group.
"Going for inclusion" has the peculiarity that people with different capacities will "to work" already "enjoy" with people who are in similar circumstances to yours, which is a reciprocal motivation.
The project is a reality thanks to the biomedical company Pfizer and the collaboration of the Adecco Foundation, which eight years ago saw first-hand the activities carried out by the Association and, since then, has trusted in this project. The economic collaboration allows the hiring of workers, who exercise their work a few hours a week.
Adecco has an agreement with the Pfizer company with the dual purpose of offering support to social entities and promoting the social and labor integration of the functional diversity group.
The project will be carried out for a year, from September 2020 to August 2021, and the workers will carry out their labor inclusion in the different projects carried out by the Association: "We are able", Municipal School of Adapted Sports of the City Council of Dénia, "Multisensory Room", "We want to go out", "Enjoying Summer", "Som equal, som diferents" y "Tapis Workshops".
Among the workers they have Mar Dalmau, a volunteer and user of the association, with cerebral palsy, which is an important step to give visibility to the group.
Mar performs administrative tasks, as well as participating as a speaker in many conferences and holding talks and awareness workshops for different entities.
In the project collaborates the Department of Social Affairs and the Department of Sports of the City of Dénia, as well as various individuals, who allow the projects of Condenados al Bordillo to be a reality.
