It's been years since Facing the association Edging works for the incorporation of people with different abilities to the world of work. Therefore, this year, the seventh already in a row, starts up its project again A by inclusion.
The relevance of this project is that the people that the association hires are people with different abilities, also users of the association. And his job is to help people who also have different abilities, who participate in the multiple projects of the Damned, which is an important motivation for both parties.
This year in particular there will be eight people, Mar, Xavi, Sergio, David, Aroa, José Luis, David and Raúl, who will have the support of Alona, a speech therapist, and will carry out different activities in the projects offered by the Association to the community of functional diversity in the region of the Marina Alta, in which more than eighty people participate.
The project covers from September of 2019 until August of 2020, and the workers carry out their labor inclusion in different projects carried out by the Association: Municipal School of Adapted Sports of the City of Dénia, Mulisensory Room, Respites and Camps ...
It should be noted the importance of one of the workers who have the association, Mar Dalmau, user and volunteer of the association, with cerebral palsy. Mar not only performs an administrative task, but is a speaker at many conferences and makes awareness talks about this group. His presence, as a worker and user at the same time, is very relevant to normalize the group with functional diversity and give visibility.
This project is possible thanks to the biomedical company Pfizer, with the collaboration of Fundación Adecco. Pfizer met first hand, in the year 2013, all the activities carried out by the Association and since then it trusts its projects. This company collaborates financially for the hiring of workers. Adecco has an agreement with the Pfizer company with the dual purpose of offering support to social entities and promoting the social and labor integration of the functional diversity group.
Along with this support, Condemned has the collaboration of the Department of Social Affairs and the Department of Sports of the City of Dénia and various individuals that allow the projects of Condemned are a reality.
