The council of Youth and Mayor that directs Isabel Gallego This year, the second edition of short story and photography contests has been called.
My neighborhood Will be the subject of the photography contest, in which the categories have been expanded: from 10 to 18 years; From 19 to 30 years and 31 years on. Participants will be able to submit a maximum of 3 works and must present original and non-awarded photographs in other competitions, in black and white or in color, of free size and mounted in rigid pen board of 40 by 50 centimeters.
The submission deadline is 11 in February and ends 30 in April, and will be delivered in the offices of Llunàtics. The 10 of May will be known the jury's decision and an exhibition will be realized with the participant images in dates yet to be determined.
There will be three prizes per category: the first and second prizes of each category are endowed with photographic material and the third ones will consist of a photography course that will be taught in Artístics.
The short story contest will have the same categories and the theme will be free. It can be written in Spanish or Valencian and its extension should not exceed 15 folios typed double-spaced and single-sided.
The stories can be presented from February 18 to April 30 in Llunàtics in a closed envelope that should include the title of the story and the pseudonym used by the participant. The author of the winning story of each category will receive a voucher worth 100 euros for the purchase of books and his published work. The jury's ruling will be issued on May 13 and the awards ceremony will take place on May 24.
