The person in charge of the closing concert of the eighth edition of the Dénia Jazz Festival, on Thursday, August 25, is one of the most respected traditional jazz musicians both in his native France and on the European scene. From Paris, the trumpeter and singer Jerome Etcheberry will visit Dénia together with his group, The Hot Berries. With a style strongly rooted in tradition and citing Louis Armstrong, Red Allen and Roy Eldridge as his main influences, this French jazzman is one of the best musicians in his country and one of the most interesting representatives of his style throughout the world. . With an extensive discography and a career as long as it is abundant in achievements, it is worth noting that his album Satchmocracy, released in 2020, was recently awarded the prestigious “Prix du Hot Club de France” award.
The concert will take place at 22:30 p.m. in Torrecremada Park. Tickets can be purchased online for €14 here, or at the box office for €17.
