The works of supply and installation of the artificial grass pavement in the football field Rodat They have started this week. The winning company, Obras y Pavimentos Especiales SA, has a period of two months to carry out the work, budgeted at 149.600,52 euros plus 31.416,11 euros VAT. During this time, the training of the teams of the Municipal School of Soccer of Dénia will move to the fields of Diego Mena and the sports center.
This project, promoted by the Department of Sports of the Ajuntament de Dénia, responds to the state of wear and deterioration of the current grass of the field by the intense sporting use registered during the close to 10 years of life of the pavement. The plenary session of the Ajuntament de Dénia unanimously approved the contracting of the work and its start in the September full of 2018 and the award to the company Obras y Pavimentos Especiales SA proposed by the Contracting Committee in December.
The provision includes the supply, installation and maintenance of artificial turf pavement by leasing with option to purchase for a period of 5 years. In total, some 6.100 square meters of artificial turf will be installed to replace the current one.
The works will consist in the removal of rubber and sand placed on the existing artificial turf carpet and, if possible, its revaluation to be used on the new carpet; the leveling and adaptation of the existing base of the field if necessary; the marking and signage for 8 football and 11 football with the characteristics and colors set by the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the supply of new sports equipment, such as the 11 football and 7 soccer goals in aluminum, benches, nets and flags.
Likewise, the awardee will be in charge of the maintenance of the new grass of the field during the period of validity of the contract.
