For the fourth consecutive year, the Department of Health of Dénia has launched the program pacient Actiu, a workshop aimed at patients with diabetes and caregivers that this year will be held in Gata de Gorgos.
This is a totally free training to be held at the Gata de Gorgos Social Center, on Tuesday mornings, from 10 to 12: 30 hours, 14, 21 and 28 days in November and 5, 12 and 19 in December . A total of six consecutive sessions in which patients are instructed to handle certain types of tools and are taught to develop action plans or make the appropriate decisions in a timely manner.
This program is part of the strategies of Chronicity, Active Aging, of the Health Plan of the Valencian Community and is a SUPPORT Program for people living with a chronic illness and carers, in order to acquire strategies that allow them better self-care of your health.
The goal is to identify the symptoms and problems caused by the pathology that affects them, manage pain, resolve conflicts, adjust their diet, increase their level of physical activity, control mood.
