The Department of the Environment has launched the Environmental Education program 2014 / 2015 course aimed at schools in the city. The offer is aimed at students of Early Childhood Education, Primary, ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training.
A wide range of talks, screenings, itineraries and excursions, workshops, storytelling, teaching drama and exhibitions make up the environmental education program of this course.
The activities will take place in the schools themselves, while the outdoor itineraries will serve to discover the attractions of our landscapes and urban parks. The Casa del Iryda Nature Classroom will also serve as an environmental resource for workshops and tours of the Montgo.
The Environmental Education program began this month of October with workshops and activities on domestic waste separation sponsored by the Generalitat Valenciana and waste management companies.
