During the 2014-2015 exercise, the Rotary Club of Denia initiated a project to equip the mission with the Servite brothers in Matola, specifically for the San Gabriel School in Home New Hope, Of the material needed for a laboratory of physics and chemistry for the School where secondary education is taught and attending more than 700 students, and an oven for the Ceramic Workshop that 4 years ago burned. Thanks to this it has been possible to restart the teaching and production of ceramics for home use.
This year, Father Correcher, taking advantage of his visit to Matola, has started the ceramic kiln, so the Rotary Club of Denia concludes the project.
To raise funds, among others, events such as the audiovisual show Homer: L'Odissea, or the solidarity market of Christmas, in which the students of the exchange program collaborated. Finally, the project, co-sponsored by the Rotary club of Dénia, its honorary partner Rick Chimblo, the Valley Gold Club and the Rotary Foundation, has had a cost of $ 25.000.
