Impulsa Cultura is an initiative of the Salom Sabar Foundation for the support, promotion and encouragement of artistic and cultural activity in the Marina Alta. In its third edition, the entity has received a total of 22 proposals, among others, for recordings, stage productions, festivals, book editions, photographic collections or plastic arts workshops, which gives a clear example of the wealth and the cultural variety in the region.
Among the five selected projects we find the theatrical production “Sexualizarte”, the latest creation by the Inefable Producciones company, which, on this occasion, presents a musical for young people and adolescents with an educational purpose around sexuality from a perspective of equality and respect.
The young group Devoto will also have the support of the Salom Sabar Foundation in the production of their album “Tras el cristal”, which will feature eight rock 'n' folk songs composed and inspired by the Marina Alta and the It montgó.
Another of the proposals selected in this new edition of Impulsa Cultura is the “Sing & Learn” project, an audiovisual collection of educational songs based on its own methodology to learn English in a playful way thanks to music and audiovisuals.
The Dénia Artistic Musical Group will also have the support of the Salom Sabar Foundation in its project "Interactive Music per a tots i totes", a series of musical expression workshops for people with disabilities and minors at risk of exclusion for both educational purposes as therapeutic. The project will include the recording of a musical theme at the end of the course.
The last of the projects selected in the third Impulsa Cultura edition is the Al Dani de Pedreguer Mediterranean Music and Dance Festival, which will have the support of the Salom Sabar Foundation in its 2021 edition.
