Dénia's libraries and reading agencies close due to the coronavirus but they maintain the loan service

From today, Monday, January 25, the date of entry into force of the decree of the Generalitat Valenciana with new restrictions aimed at containing the spread of infections caused by COVID-19, the Public Library of Sant Josep Street and the reading agency Rafael Chirbes, located in the House of Culture, is closed to the public. Therefore, it will not be possible to study or reading in the room, the use of computers and other services that involve the use and permanence in the facilities by the public.

Yes, the loan and return service is still active, which follows the usual hours: at the Sant Josep Library, Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 21 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 13.30 pm; While at the Rafael Chirbes reading agency, you can enjoy the loan and return service from Monday to Friday, from 9.30 a.m. to 13.30 p.m. and from 17 p.m. to 20 p.m.

The capacity of these facilities is reduced to two people simultaneously.

The use of this service does not require an appointment. However, users are recommended to request the material they want to borrow by telephone, at 96 578 36 65, or by email at the address library@ayto-denia.es. This speeds up collection and shortens waiting times.
