Today begins in Madrid Fitur, the International Tourism Fair that is one of the unavoidable appointments for Dénia and the region of the Marina Alta. He International Center of Gastronomic Culture of the Mediterranean it will be Dénia's great asset. This center, which will be located in the premises of the CDT Dénia, will be the nerve center of Mediterranean cuisine, coordinating the actions of the rest of CDTs of the Region and enhancing, even more, the image of UNESCO's Creative City of Gastronomy .

The official presentation will be on Thursday, in an act in the central square of the Valencian Community Pavilion, which will be attended by the regional secretary of the Valencian Tourism Agency, Francesc Colomer, the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, and the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt.

It is a project in which the Agència Valenciana del Turisme has been working for two years and will be a reality in a short time. Last week, the mayor and Reme Cerdà, from Aehtma, attended the explanatory meeting on the center's operation at the CDT in València.

To these actions in Fitur is added the presentation of two Kite championships to be held in spring and summer in El Portet.

Baleària at FITUR

The shipping company Baleària will be very present this year at FITUR. In this edition, the company will take the opportunity to present the important investment it is making to renew its fleet and have more sustainable and eco-efficient ships.

In addition, it will announce the new series of four eco fast ferries that it has begun to incorporate into the connection between Eivissa and Formentera and with which it will complement a social responsibility project for the four vessels promoting sustainable tourism.

Baleària It will expose these and other novelties in its stand, in which it will offer a complete programming of activities and events to transfer the experience of sailing on board their ships. The venue will have an 5D virtual reality module that will allow visualization of the arrival at ferry to Eivissa. To show the entertainment options on board will also offer concerts and afterwork sessions of electronic music with recognized dj's of the national scene (collaborators of the program Baleària Fun & Music), along with magic shows and food exhibits.

Students of the IES Number 3 will disseminate sustainable tourism
