The next October 4 day Edes Studies Center will begin his fourth year of creative writing, in the Parenthesis workshop in the center.
The Paréntesis workshop, with groups in several cities and headquarters in Malaga, was born in Madrid for 28 years ago; It is the first writing workshop in the city of Denia.
During this course 2018-2019 intends to fulfill two objectives:
1º. Learn to correct their own texts (insist or find literary themes that interest each one; reinforce or discover personal style; deepen the creation of characters ..., etc.).
2º. By the end of the course, each attendee will have eight or ten stories for their possible individual edition in a book.
Once the course is over, there will be a literary trip to a European city where they will get to know the homes of the writers that captivated them, the cafés where they wrote or even pay tribute to these authors visiting their tombs.
A couple of years ago the students were able to visit Turin, in Italy and the following year, they traveled to Trieste, also in Italy. In this edition, the members of the course will agree on the next city to visit.
