The Business Circle of the Marina Alta has issued a statement conveying its discomfort at the attitude of the City Council towards the Consell d'Urbanisme. As they explain, the consistory has convened the Consell on May 8, when the PGE proposal was approved just a month before.
From the CEDMA claim "Since our capacity for surprise with the management of Urban Planning in Dénia has been very reduced, we do not rule out that there may be news regarding the plenary session or what is published on the website, especially when this body, the Consell d'Urbanisme, as stated in its foundational norms, it has “advisory and advisory character”, and not merely informative, as it has been in its last sessions ".
They also remember that "If this call in itself is not able to provide any news or progress regarding the document approved in the plenary and uploaded to the website of the City of Dénia the day after, it would distort the raison d'être of the Consell d'Urbanisme, which it would add to the long list of defaults and non-compliances that the Presidency has accumulated since its creation ".
The members of CEDMA defend "that the figure of the Consell d'Urbanisme de Dénia is a fundamental tool that we claim from social agents, and we believe in it, but we will not be idly watching how their fundamental objectives are deformed and adulterated".
